Johan Persson changes role at SEB

SEB has appointed Johan Persson as country manager for Norway.

Persson has more than 25 years of industry experience and has worked for SEB since 2005, most recently as global head of energy and head of corporate banking in Norway. Prior to this, he was head of structured and leveraged finance for Norway.

Earlier in his career, Persson was a credit risk officer at financial services firm DLL, based in Sweden. He also spent a number of years with Telia Finance, the financial technology subsidiary of telecoms operator Telia Company.

Commenting on the appointment, Jonas Ahlström, head of large corporates and financial institutions at SEB, says: “I am very pleased to appoint Johan as country manager in Norway. He has a long- standing track record, is an appreciated leader and has been instrumental in transforming and growing our business in Norway.”
